About Accessibility DC Event

Accessibility DC is a monthly meetup once every month and is a chance for people who are interested in Accessibility to get together and share information. Web Developers who are interested in Web Accessibility and Adaptive Technology Users who have a daily experience of accessibility issues are all welcome to attend.

Reminder the events are free to those attending.

We meet-up in Washington, DC, and the events tend to be held on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights between 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM.

We are in the process of finding a new venue which is accessible to those with differing abilities and near a metro station in DC or Arlington, VA, area.

Please look for upcoming event information on the Accessibility DC EventBrite or Meet-up pages.

Event registration closes at noon the day before, so the company lending us the space has time to inform building security who are going to attend. You will not be let into the building if you are not on the list.

When we have events attendees MUST register for the event through EventBrite or Meet-up with their first and last name to be added to the attendee list. Present a valid, photo ID upon entry into the building. No exceptions will be made.
